Planning and Zoning

The Planning Commission provides advice and recommendations to the Village of Hanna City, the Mayor and City Council, City Staff, and such committees as may be created from time to time on issues related to Zoning, Building Permits and Property Annexation. 

The Planning Commission consists of seven members that reside within the village or within territory contiguous to the village and not more than one and one-half miles beyond the village limits and not included within any other municipality. Members are appointed by the Mayor on the basis of their particular fitness for their duty on the Planning Commission and subject to approval of the Board of Trustees.
